Position OverviewMust hold a valid government clearance of SC or above.Due to the nature of the site candidates must be aware that a high level of Security Clearance will be required prior to starting. Candidates will need to provide evidence of 10 years+ British Citizenship or British Naturalisation to be successfully appointed.The successful applicant will become part of a professional security team responsible for the 24hr physical security of a high end corporate office. Due to the nature of the contract the successful candidate would be expected to work to a high standard of professionalism, integrity and attention to detail. The successful candidate will have to have experience in conflict management with a sound knowledge of CCTV and access control systems. I strong working knowledge of windows operating systems is required. As a security officer you will be seen as a representative of the Interserve security team, and to this end will be required to maintain a smart and wellgroomed appearance, in full uniform which will be provided. The role includes patrols of the office space, escorting of contractors and dealing with routine issues raised by the client.Responsibilities Conduct security duties for the site.As as a subject matter expert on security procedures.Understand data protection, access control systems and cctv systems.Conduct searches of staff and deliveries. What we are looking forEssential:We are seeking professional individuals ideally with prior security experience gained in a corporate, Critical National Infrastructure, Police or Military environment. Candidates must be well presented, fluent in both written and spoken English and experienced in conflict resolution.The idea candidate will be someone proactive and hardworking, willing to take additional responsibility with a desire to improve the working environment for others though excellent customer service.It is a requirement for the role that all candidates currently hold an SIA licence, have been a resident of the UK for 5 years, hold a British Passport and have no convictions or cautions.Due to the contract requirements it is required that all applicants hold governmental clearance to the level of security clearance (SC) as minimum and then progressing onto developed vetting.
