Job Description

This is an exiting opportunity to join our inhouse Learning and Development team as a Sales or Leadership Consultant. The role is to provide a consultancy service to stakeholders in order to implement and drive key initiatives around sales and or leadership development whilst being a solution provider to the business. The role also includes designing and delivering a range of training and development services to inspire leaders and sales professionals to achieve their full potential and to support company aims. Key Responsibilities include:
  • Designing sales or leadership courses for all levels ensuring that the learning is aligned to business needs
  • Deliver core and advanced sales or leadership courses
  • Complete ongoing coaching and observation
  • Complete effective training need analysis (TNAs) providing a detailed report highlighting findings, recommendations and options
  • Maintain the current learning curriculum to ensure all learning is compliant
  • Produce legislative and regulatory compliant learning / development plans in order to meet business objectives
  • Contribute towards maintaining and enhancing the training teams value to the business, by complying with agreed best practice while applying a critical awareness of current developments in learning
  • Evaluate and report on the business impact of learning activities, contributing to the advancement of the team and the delivery of a highquality, cost effective service to the business
  • Be able to consult effectively with the business using a toolkit of consultancy skills in order to identify and define client requirements, ensure stakeholder management, influence our stakeholders, encourage the use of effective learning interventions and become a solution provider
  • Facilitate workshops and coach in order to win the hearts and minds ensuring that all learning outputs to our internal customers highlights external customer consequences
  • Deliver, coach and embed development
  • Support mentoring and succession planning
  • Support the Head of Training with designing and embedding High Talent Programmes and Apprenticeships
  • The ideal candidate will be someone with at least three years experience and an external qualification in Learning and Development as well as experience in a sales or leadership role. Ideal skills to include; Strong interpersonal and communication skills: demonstrates a clear and articulate standard of written and verbal communication, Strong coaching skills, Strong teamwork and collaboration skills and Strong MS Office skills.Please apply online Required skills
