Office Administrator Insurance Claims / Repairs23,000 25,000 depending upon experience Kent near Dartford/Sevenoaks Summary Our client is looking for an Office Administrator to join their successful team based in Kent between Dartford & Sevenoaks. The company carry out repairs to properties following an insurance claim and you will be working with a team of admin support, surveyors/contracts managers and trades staff. This is a busy role that will see you helping with general office administration, taking incoming calls from clients, entering information on the database and keeping customers updated on the progress of works being carried out to their property.Due to the location of this office you must drive and have your own transport as it is not easily accessed on public transport. Working hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday (but there could be some flexibility for the right candidate if necessary).Job role and responsibilitiesWorking within a small friendly team/office environment you will be responsible for:
  • Dealing with incoming calls from customers
  • Updating the database with information ensuring this is kept up to date
  • General administration
  • Keeping track of the status of jobs
  • Collecting excess payments over the phone
  • Managing diaries and responding to emails
  • Written and verbal communications with various parties (internal and external)
  • What skills/experience will you needFor this Office Administrator role, you will need to have some solid officebased admin support experience. It would be extremely beneficial if you have worked within an insurance repairs, construction or property maintenance environment.You will need excellent communication skills and have a positive can do attitude. Good IT skills (a working knowledge of Word/Excel/Outlook) is essential and if you have used Symbility this would be a distinct advantage. You need to be able prioritise tasks and use your initiative.Package detailsThe salary is 23k 25k depending on experience and there is free parking on site. It is a nice working environment and there is the potential that this role could become permanent after the initial contract.
