Our Housekeeping team is responsible for maintaining more than 700 units of accommodation; from apartments and penthouses to Lodges and Treehouses, and for looking after our public areas and office spaces, so no two days are the same. Thats why its the largest team on each Village.

HOUSEKEEPING ASSISTANT TEAM LEADER / SUPERVISOR

In this role you will support our Housekeeping Team Leader to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the cleaning operation. Good verbal and written communication skills will be required, along with an organised and methodical approach to work.

You will undertake regular cleaning duties, whilst also assisting with the supervision of a team. Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with training and development requirements for the team
  • Supporting with sickness and absence management
  • Ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained by completing audits
  • Taking charge of the team in the absence of the Housekeeping Supervisor

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 64 hours per 4-week period working on a flexible basis. This means that your hours and days of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.

Your working days will typically be Monday and Friday. As our Village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours may include evenings, weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Essential requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • An organised and methodical approach to work
  • Previous supervisory experience

Desirable requirements:

  • Previous experience within the cleaning industry
