Job Description

Our client, based in Bridgwater, is seeking Call Handler candidates who excel in Customer Service and ideally have experience of dealing with high volumes of calls. The Call Handler role will be working within a team where there will be a period of training with existing call handlers. You will be trained to handle appointment calls, offering transport advice and assessing eligibility using strict guidelines.Although the role is being offered on a temporary basis, the team are looking for candidates who are happy to commit to the duration of the assignment, with the possibility to then transfer to a fixed term contract.Hours are worked Monday - Friday on a rota basis. Two weeks 08.30 to 16.30 and then 10.30 to 18.30 for every third week. Requirements: Experience of Windows Office Suite and Outlook. Databases used will be Access, Excel and Choose and Book system. Good communication skills and telephone customer service handling skills. Working confidentially and within Information Governance standards is also important. Ability to work under pressure during busy periods with high volume of calls. Confidence and ability to deal with difficult customers. Team player Call centre experience is preferable but isnt a necessity. Flexibility is required in order to provide sickness and holiday cover
