Job Description

Role PurposeThe Affiliates Manager is responsible for driving the digital performance of the affiliate marketing channel for the affiliate team in the UK. The Affiliates Manager contributes to the volume and profitability growth of the affiliates activity as well as retain the players database of the brand under the teams responsibility.The Affiliates Manager is responsible for ensuring the team is meeting their monthly targets (e.g. blend direction of CPA versus Rev Share) set by Head of Marketing (Coral)Key Responsibilities Accountable for executing the strategy for the teams affiliates accounts set by Head of Marketing (Coral) Responsible for building and managing an in-house team to deliver the affiliate marketing strategy including: affiliates bidding and cost management, forecasting and planning of future volume and profitability; A leader that mentors and develops the affiliate team by; providing development, coaching, objectives and goal setting, performance management and other people policies as required ensuring the team is motivated, productive and fully compliant with all regulations and legislation. Responsible to ensure the team match the monthly FTDs and NGRs targets set to them by Head of Marketing (Coral) Proactively identify market and strategic opportunities across the digital channels and direct the team towards possible ways to increase value and profitability from new and existing customers in order to achieve higher FTDs and improve NGR. A strategic and inspiring leader that provides leadership and direction to the team creating and embedding a culture where continuous improvement is embraced. Work closely with other affiliate team managers to complete thorough assessment of future possible model(s) for affiliate management - including implementing an affiliate programme as well as deciding on criteria to select between revenue share and Cost Per Deposit (CPD) affiliate partners. Work closely with the Affiliate Operations Team Lead to ensure smooth transactions of affiliates data to the affiliates management system (Mexos/Income Access). Manage the activity of the teams affiliates to ensure compliance with regulations and policies. Encourage communication and collaboration across the business, team and stakeholders in order to build strong relationships and develop cross functional working relationships. Responsible for ensuring the teams promotional materials are compliant, appropriate and competitive at all times; responsible for due diligence on affiliate partners to ensure full compliance with Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Customer (KYC) guidelines. Responsible for strict adherence to advertising standards and UK Committee Advertising Practices codes by working with companys compliance and legal teams to evolve guidelines and working practices to ensure compliance to companys guidelines. Work closely with customer experience and the conversion teams of the brand to optimise visit-deposit funnel performance and implement initiatives to improve overall customers experience and increase NGR. Maintain strong relationships with key affiliates to ensure leading edge acquisition techniques are deployed, market opportunities are actualised and technology changes are shared within the company on a regular basis. Responsible for managing and controlling the teams budget as well as controlling the Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) of the affiliates deals. Responsible for ensuring that all affiliates activity is sufficiently monitored, tracked and evaluated by the team using affiliate tracking tools in Income Access/Mexos and internal analytical reports thus ensuring positive NGR . Increasing the Brands presence at affiliate marketing forums and events by representing the company in relevant conferences and forums. Take significant part in recruiting new members to the Affiliate team; working in synergy with the HR team to ensure best quality of team members. Work closely with BI to review, analyse and develop digital attribution models and implement recommended changes quickly and effectively within the team.Qualifications and Educational Requirements No specific requirements but successful candidate likely to have university level education and/or equivalent vocational trainingSpecialist Skills and Experience Required Previous Experienced Affiliate Manager/Team Leader Significant hands-on and strategic online sports and gaming experience Outstanding management, organisational and leadership skills Can identify tracking issues Outstanding people manager with demonstrable track record of recruiting, developing and managing talent within a multi-cultural environment Results orientated individual with focus on successful delivery, agility and self-control Proven analytical capabilities and an understanding of BI and data analytics Strong understanding of digital advertising legislation and codes of practice Strategic thinker with outstanding problem solving skills Track record of working internationally - preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative and dynamic environment Customer focused and able to think across organisational boundaries to deliver seamless customer experiences and optimise ROI
