Client Details

Established in the 1700s our client specialises in producing a variety of body, bath and beauty products to a range of large high street retailers and major brands.

Description

As the Account Manager, reporting in to the Head of Contract Manufacturing, you will be part of the contract manufacturing team and responsible for managing a variety of personal care and beauty ranges for a portfolio of brands within a major retailer.

This is a fast paced environment, and you should be used to working towards deadlines, under pressure and have a commercial mind set. This will suit someone who is highly organised and has a consultative selling style as this is not a transactional role but rather a partnership with the brands and retailer.

Contract manufacturing experience would be ideal although my client will consider a private label background also, preferably in the beauty/healthcare industry although food, drinks, flowers/plants industries would be considered too.

The Account Manager role will include travel, but is an office based position and you must be commutable to the East Midlands/East Anglia area on a daily basis.

Profile

Key skills and experience required:

  • Contract manufacturing or private/own label experience
  • A passion and interest in the beauty and cosmetics industry is a must as you will need to keep updated on trends in the market. Experience in the industry is desirable although not essential
  • Experienced within an industry which is regulated such as beauty, healthcare, food, drinks, flowers/plants
  • Commercially astute with the ability work under pressure towards deadlines and manage your own budgets
  • Ability to work well as a team and also independently with a self-motivated attitude
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage expectations
  • Commutable to the East Midlands/East Anglia area
  • Full UK driving license
